On March 30th, the 2026 Overseas and Domestic Textile and Clothing Supply Chain Cooperation Conference was held in the Chenfeng Fashion Industrial Park in Huaiqiao, Kunshan. This conference was hosted by the International Supply Chain Committee of the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, and was organized by Chenfeng Fashion Industrial Park, Huaiqiao Economic Development Zone Management Committee. It was co-organized by the Shanghai Clothing Industry Association, Jiangsu Clothing Association, Henan Clothing Industry Association, and Anhui Textile Industry Association. Over 300 entrepreneurs, industry experts, and representatives from various industry associations in the upstream and downstream of the textile and clothing supply chain from both home and abroad attended the conference. 

This meeting was chaired by Zhang Xian, the vice president of the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce. The chairperson of the Textile Chamber of Commerce was Cao Jichang. Shao Jianming, the vice chairman of the Kunshan Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee and the Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Huaiqiao Economic Development Zone, Stefano Festa, the president of the International Clothing Alliance, and Mattheijs Crietee, the secretary-general, were also present. Ziaur Rahman, the commercial counselor of the Bangladesh Embassy in China, Faramela Azania, the economic attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in China, Hu Xuchun, the secretary-general of the Shanghai Clothing Industry Association, Gong Huijuan, the president of the Jiangsu Province Clothing Association, Zhang Xian, the president of the Jiangsu Province Clothing Designers Association, Gao Hong, the president of the Henan Province Clothing Designers Association, Chen Haixing, the secretary-general of the Suzhou Clothing Industry Association, Hou Kai, the deputy secretary-general of the Dalian Clothing and Textile Association, and Zhao Songqi, the director, were also among the guests attending the meeting. 

Xiao Jianming, the deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Kunshan Municipal People's Congress, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Huaiqiao Economic Development Zone, and the deputy director of the Development and Management Committee, delivered a speech, kicking off the conference. He introduced that the Chenguang Fashion Creative Industrial Park has become a full-chain fashion creative industrial park in the Yangtze River Delta. On that day, the Chenguang Creative Design Fashion Village project was inaugurated. In the future, the government and enterprises will continue to work together to build a fashion creative origin, talent gathering place, and new product launch site in the Yangtze River Delta. 

President Cao Jichang delivered a keynote speech titled "Deepening International Supply Chain Cooperation and Gathering New Momentum for Transformation and Upgrading". He pointed out that currently, the global textile and apparel industry is in a period of deep restructuring. Chinese enterprises should actively integrate into the international supply chain system, strengthen production capacity cooperation and resource alignment with key countries and regions, and enhance their position in the global value chain. 

The president of the International Apparel Alliance, Stefano Festa, delivered a speech on "The Development Trends of the Apparel Industry and Supply Chain Reconfiguration from a Global Perspective", thoroughly analyzing the changes in the global supply chain pattern and new opportunities for international cooperation.
