People Online Haihu October 22 (Reporter Shen Wenmin) Recently, 2018 Asia International Textile Machinery Exhibition and Shanghai International Textile Machinery Exhibition were held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition is a large-scale event focusing on textile machinery in Asia. In this exhibition, textile machinery technology from Italy will still play an important role, presenting more innovative and sustainable new solutions.

During the exhibition, more than 130 exhibitors from Italy appeared together at the 2018 Asia International Textile Machinery Exhibition and China Shanghai International Textile Machinery Exhibition. Among them, 63 Italian manufacturing companies will showcase their latest scientific and technological achievements in the exhibition under the organization of national industry organizations such as ACIMIT and ICE-Agency. In this exhibition, the Italian company's booth occupied an area of about 6,300 square meters, making it the core exhibitor of this exhibition.

Asia and China are key markets for Italian textile machinery manufacturers overseas. In the first half of 2018, 46% of Italian textile machinery products were exported to the Asian market, compared with 37% and 12% respectively for exports to Europe and the Americas. In addition, the Chinese market is also a major destination for Italian exports, accounting for 16% of total exports. In the first six months of 2018, Italy's total export value reached 156 million euros (compared to 8% in the first half of 2017). Other major exporters of Italian textile machinery manufacturers in Asia include India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

The demand for textile machinery in the Chinese market is mainly concentrated in high-tech products, through technology to achieve cost optimization and environmental sustainability. The Chinese textile industry has a strong interest in innovative solutions that often respond quickly to market demands; such as fast delivery times and real-time production. In order to enhance the competitiveness of Chinese textile companies on a global scale, like other countries, Chinese companies must focus on the digitization of production processes and incorporate sustainability when adopting technological solutions.
