In June, in Dalang, the lychees are in full bloom, and the looms are humming across the land. This internationally renowned modern wool textile industrial cluster is welcoming a grand industry event with the most passionate Lingnan style, centered around a thousand-year-old intangible cultural heritage and based on the wool weaving industry.

On June 24th, the 10th Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference, the 23rd China (Dalong) Wool Textile Products Trade Fair, and the 95th International Wool Textile Conference were launched simultaneously in Dalong, Dongguan. The 10th Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference was jointly hosted by the China Textile Industry Federation and the Dalong Town Government. With the theme of "Intangible Cultural Heritage Coexistence and Textile Innovation for the Future", representatives from relevant government departments, industry associations, textile intangible cultural heritage practitioners, textile and apparel enterprises, and university research institutions gathered together to jointly explore new paths for the integration and development of textile intangible cultural heritage and the wool textile industry, injecting cultural momentum into the construction of a modern textile industrial system.

Technology enables industries to move faster, while culture enables them to go further. At the opening ceremony, Director Dong Tie of Dalang Town's Party Committee delivered a speech, stating that the 10th Textile Intangible Heritage Conference, with the theme of "Intangible Heritage Coexistence - Weaving the Future", actively explores the innovative path of "intangible heritage culture + traditional industry" for mutual empowerment, allowing ancient dyeing and finishing techniques and meticulous handcrafted embroidery to add cultural depth and fashion brilliance to wool textile products, and creating a series of "wearable cultural assets".
