As a key equipment for the production of fibers, the spinning machine usually has four core functional areas, which work together to ensure the output of high-quality fibers.

High polymer melting device

The unit is mainly carried out by a screw extruder, whose functions include solid material supply, polymer melting and melt quantitative extrusion. Screw is divided into feed section, compression section and metering section. In the feeding area (curing area), the use of equal depth screw, the first half (cooling area) through the jacket coil or the inner core of the screw through the cooling water, the temperature is controlled below 100℃, to prevent the material from premature melting resulting in ring blocking material, while protecting the screw transmission mechanism. The latter half (preheating zone) avoids temperature abrupt changes in the material from the feed zone to the compression zone. The compression zone (melt zone) uses a gradient or mutation screw to return air or water vapor to the feed zone by heating and shearing the molten material, and compressing the material (the screw tank volume becomes smaller). The measuring area (homogenization area) adopts equal shallow screw.

Melt conveying, distributing, spinning and insulation equipment

Pipe bending: as a screw extruder to the spinning box melt conveying pipe, one end is connected to the screw outlet, the other end is connected to the spinning machine melt distribution pipe. The melt is insulated by heating the biphenyl-biphenyl ether mixture in the jacket.

Spinning box: composed of melt distribution pipe, biphenyl heating box, spinning pump and its transmission device, spinning head assembly. The melt distribution tube shall ensure that the melt reaches each spinning site at the same distance, the residence time in the tube is short and the folding is less, including branch type and radial type. The biphenyl heating box is heated by the biphenyl diphenyl ether heat carrier (biphenyl/biphenyl ether ratio is 26.5%/73.5%) and uses an electric heating rod to heat the melt distribution pipe, metering pump and spinning head components. At the same time, it is equipped with an 80-100mm insulation layer and filled with ultra-fine glass fiber or other insulating materials. The metering pump is high temperature gear pump. The spinning head assembly is responsible for filtering the melt, preventing the blockage of the spinneret hole, promoting the full mixing of the melt, reducing the viscosity difference, and evenly dispersing the melt to each small hole of the spinneret hole to form a fine flow of melt. The structure includes the spinneret plate, the melt distribution plate, the melt filter material and the assembly sleeve.

Wire cooling device

Spinning window: ensure that the silk strip is only cooled by directional, quantitative and fixed air flow during cooling, so that the cooling rate is uniform, the fiber solidification position is fixed, and the surrounding air flow is free from interference.

Slow cooling chamber: the lower part is provided with two front and rear inserted plates, separated from the cooling spinning cylinder, and the upper part is provided with a lock, forming a 30-200mm long slow cooling zone under the spinnerette, preventing the cooling wind from blowing the cold spinnerette surface, reducing the winding wire birefringence, and improving the stretchability.

All functional areas are closely coordinated, from melting of polymers to cooling collection of strips, to ensure the high efficiency and stability of the spinning process.
