India made the second anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on China-related fully oriented yarns, fully drawn yarns, spinning drawn yarns and polyester flat yarns

On November 23, 2020, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that all fully oriented yarns, fully drawn yarns, spun drawn yarns and polyester flat yarns originating or imported from China and Thailand (All Fully Drawn or Fully Oriented Yarn/Spin Draw Yarn/Flat Yarn of Polyester) made the final ruling of the second anti-dumping sunset review, suggesting to continue to impose a five-year anti-dumping duty on the products involved in the case in China, with a tax amount of US$547/metric ton; at the same time, it is not recommended to continue to levy the products involved in the case in Thailand. On March 24, 2014, India conducted the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on fully oriented yarn, fully drawn yarn, spun drawn yarn and polyester flat yarn originating in or imported from China, Thailand and Vietnam. On September 22, 2015, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry made the first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on fully oriented yarn, fully drawn yarn, spun drawn yarn and polyester flat yarn originating in or imported from China, Thailand and Vietnam : As India did not continue to import the products involved in the case from Vietnam during the entire damage investigation period, it is recommended to terminate the anti-dumping measures against the products involved in Vietnam; however, it is recommended to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved in China and Thailand.
