On August 1st, the opening ceremony of the 2026 Autumn-Winter Small Li Clothing Exhibition and Sales Event was grandly held at the Xiong'an Design Center in Rongcheng County, Xiong'an New Area. At the opening ceremony, He Wanyu, the mayor of Xiaoli Town, Rongcheng County, delivered an opening speech titled "Quality, Innovation, Cooperation: Joining Hands to Create a New Future for Rongcheng Clothing Industry". She reviewed the industrial development process over the past 40 years since the 1980s, and how the Xiaoli clothing industry has grown from family workshops and rural markets to a national highland for autumn and winter clothing production. Specialized products such as middle-aged and elderly jackets, fleece, autumn and winter coats, and outdoor functional clothing have gained popularity worldwide with their excellent craftsmanship and high cost-effectiveness, and have established the regional brand of "Xiaoli Clothing". She analyzed the current development bottlenecks such as homogenization competition in the industry and the single domestic market, and proposed to use this exhibition and sales event as a transformation carrier. From four directions including cross-border e-commerce channels, AI + 3D digital design, renewable green fabrics, and automated intelligent production lines, it will empower industrial upgrading. EU final ruling on polyamide yarn taxation 

The Brussels Trade and Economic Security Department of the European Commission has issued the final ruling, officially imposing an anti-dumping tax ranging from 60% to 67.6% on China's export of polyamide yarn. This comprehensive trade protection measure targeting the core raw materials of textiles has been fully implemented. 

The EU investigation found that domestic polyamide yarn was flooding the local market at dumping prices, causing substantial damage to the local chemical fiber industry. 

Polyamide yarn, also known as nylon or polyamide, is a high-performance general-purpose fiber material. It covers multiple sectors such as clothing, home furnishings, and healthcare. The impact brought by the imposition of tariffs this time will spread along the entire industrial chain.

Polyamide yarns, with their high elasticity, excellent wear resistance, and superior biocompatibility, are indispensable basic raw materials for the European manufacturing industry and have a wide range of application scenarios.

Recently, the 2026 Collaborative Innovation Conference on the Bio-based Chemical Fibers and Raw Materials Industry Chain was held in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. The conference conducted in-depth discussions on key technological breakthroughs in bio-based fibers, industry chain collaboration, standardization construction, and market implementation, providing a clear development path for the green transformation of the textile industry. 

Jin Gaoling, the vice president of the China Chemical Fiber Association, presented an overview of the current development of the industry. He said that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China's bio-based fibers have achieved a leapfrog growth. For the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, the industry needs to promote the domestic and large-scale production of key monomers such as high-purity lactic acid, caprolactone, and furfonic acid, accelerate breakthroughs in large-capacity continuous polymerization and melt direct spinning technologies, and promote the domestication and substitution of key equipment; make full use of resources such as straw, corn husks, bamboo grass, and bamboo materials to achieve raw material diversification and build a sustainable supply system; deepen industrial chain collaboration and promote the large-scale application of bio-based chemical fibers in the terminal sector; accelerate the formulation of standards such as the determination of bio-based content, evaluation of degradable fibers, and carbon footprint accounting, and build the competitive advantage of China's bio-based chemical fiber products in the global green supply chain.
