On May 21st, the launch ceremony of the 2025 Textile and Garment "Optimizing Supply and Promoting Upgrading" activity with the theme of "Shared Intelligent Manufacturing · New Quality Future" and the supply and demand matching activity for the coordinated development of the textile and garment industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region were successfully held in Gaoyang, Hebei Province, known as the "Textile Capital of China". He pointed out the important tasks for the future development of the textile industry and suggested that new advantages for industrial development be jointly built through the reconstruction of the industrial chain, the climbing of the value chain, and the integration of the innovation chain. Professor Zhang Shujie from Tianjin Polytechnic University focuses on the cutting-edge technologies in the textile industry, emphasizing the promoting role of smart materials and process innovation in improving the quality and efficiency of the home textile sector, and providing technical path references for industry upgrading.

During the dialogue and sharing session, representatives from enterprises and institutions in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei respectively shared and exchanged views from the perspectives of practical experience in "empowering brand upgrading through intelligent manufacturing", the path to building a green production system, integrating regional culture into product design, and promoting collaborative innovation in the textile industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region through the deep integration of industry, academia and research.
